The Moby Wrap!

Today was Kegan's first full day at home. After some breakfast, we decided to go for a walk and to try out the Moby Wrap baby carrier that Jung and David Crabbe gave us (thanks!)... Here's a couple of pics...It's kind of silly looking, but it is very comfortable and does a great job of holding and supporting the baby while leaving your hands free to do whatever...Kegan seemed to like it just fine...we walked for about 20 minutes without a single fuss...it was a little hot, but my sun-hat shaded him pretty well (though not in this pic)...




Right now, Kegan's taking a nap on Tracey's lap, and I couldn't resist a picture...here you are...

Kegan is here!

Hello World!!!

It took some doing, but Kegan is finally here. Tracey had quite the ordeal in her labor, and I'm sure she'll post about it soon. When it was all said and done, though, Kegan was born on Sunday 27 July, 2008 at 6:46 p.m. He weighed 9 lbs 5.4 oz and was 19.75 inches long.

We all spent three days and three nights at the hospital, getting released today at 2:30 pm. Kegan and mom are doing great and recovering nicely. Kegan is pretty amazing for a guy that just eats, sleeps, and cries :). We are all happy to be home and we'll be sure to post more photos as Kegan gets settled in.

Baby Shower Photos!

So here are some photos of the baby shower's I had. The first one took place in Gardnerville, NV with family and friends and the second took one took place in Oceanside, CA. The second shower was thrown by some of my best friends from college. Both parties were a blast.
